I'm having a boy in a few weeks. The Canadian Pediatric Society advises against it, but it doesn't seem like too valid of a reason. Actually, what I heard was if they recommended it, the government would have to pay for it. So it, probably a way for the government to not have to pay. So I really don't know what to do. My husband is not circumcised and has had no problems. However, I have heard horror stories of guys needing to get circumcised later in life. There's a lot of advice to keep an uncircumcised penis clean...when he is doing it on his own, that's not as likely to happen.
Also, what about cord blood banking? Is it worth the money - or a gimmick?
