I am expecting a baby in 20 days and would like to know if I should donate the umbilical cord blood or store it for our family members (we can afford it, but are big believers of donating to those who need it and in return being helped when we need it). There is still enough time to get it set up with a local (Vancouver, BC) private blood bank. I am also wondering if it's not too late to donate it to a public bank (not sure where the closest one is).
